I’ve been lucky to have really amazing clients since starting my business.  I love to get great feedback when they get their final images, and I thought I’d share a recent one cause it was just so cute and sweet… love it!

Oh my god Megan, these are beautiful!! I could not have asked for anything more perfect.

You are wonderful

thanks again

Rachel and Olivier’s Ithaca Wedding

Monday, August 4th, 2008

Ah, back to work after a few weeks off, and what a way to start!  Rachel and Olivier (or, Doctor and Doctor… seriously, I think almost everyone in the wedding party is, or will soon be, a doctor… infact, I think I accidentally became a doctor just from hanging out with them all day.  Good thing my initials are already MD)… anyway!  Rachel and Olivier were married in one of my favorite places in New York… Ithaca!

I headed down to meet the girls at Satori Day Spa… everyone was having a great time:

Rachel’s sister excelled at her Maid of Honor duties :)

I just love Rachel’s dress!

The ceremony was at Sage Chapel on the Cornell campus, it’s a really beautiful buildling.  I think Olivier’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time is one of my all time favorites… he got this huge smile on his face and was just like “Oh wow!”  It was so cute, and she did look quite foxy!

They are so cute together!

Olivier did a little dance move after being pronounced husband and wife, it had everyone laughing :D

A private moment after the ceremony…

Before we headed to the reception at the beautiful Fontainebleau Inn the guys wanted to do a Reservoir Dogs-type shot, I think they look pretty badass.

First dance!

The dance floor was rocking pretty much all night…

Ooooooooh, we’re halfway theeeere!

And some fun portraits…

Congratulations you two, thanks so much for having me!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend!

Cristyn and Mark’s Honeoye Falls Wedding

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

I’m always a little extra excited for a wedding where I’ve done an engagement shoot with the couple.  It’s always a fun time to get to know eachother and get used to being photographed- we learned at their engagement that Mark has a special talent for posing!

Their wedding was just beautiful, the ceremony was at Cristyn’s mom’s house with a reception at the Rabbit Room in Honeoye Falls.

Gorgeous Cristyn!

This was where Cristyn promised to laugh at Mark, as well as love and cherish him. :D I love funny little moments like these at the ceremony!

I love it when a couple is totally focused on eachother during the first dance.

I love both of their expressions!

The groomsmen, in classic “Top Gun” style, serenaded Cristyn and Mark with “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’”… they did not hold back!

Tiffany and Victor’s Rochester Wedding

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

Tiffany and Victor got hitched at Deerfield Country Club in Brockport this weekend.  The ceremony was planned for outdoors, but they decided to play it safe and have it indoors after the hysteria-inducing weather forecasts (gale force winds! torrential rain! hail! four horsemen!  Well, maybe not the last one.)  The weather turned out to be pretty gorgeous all day, but I liked the feeling of the indoor ceremony- the room was a bit on the small side for the number of guests, so it had a really intimate feeling with people all standing together.  Once everyone got into the larger reception area, they certainly made use of the space and had a rocking party!

Tiffany has the prettiest hazel eyes!

Tiffany jumped the gun a little bit during the vows, it was really cute and had everyone laughing, even the judge!  No cold feet here. :)

Sparkly!

I love a good father-daughter dance tearjerker!  I think we can all relate. :)

We headed out for some portraits on the course, but started with a cool shot in the classic car the girls rode to the club in.  I think this one was a Chevy something?  I’m sure someone can enlighten me!

Corinne and Matt are married!

Monday, June 16th, 2008

I had the pleasure of photographing Corinne and Matt’s wedding in Skaneateles this weekend. It was a great celebration full of friends, family and cool details. I feel like a broken record, but the weather was again grey and rainy early in the day but it cleared up nicely after the ceremony, which was extra nice because the reception site has a huge wall of windows and a deck that looks out on a pond… so pretty!

I love this bouquet!

This has to be one of my all-time favorite reception pictures. Air guitar to Shot Through the Heart… guitar hero eat your heart out!
