Calvin and Laura came to me via one of my 2010 couples, Whitney and Bill. They booked quite a while ago, but we didn't get to meet until earlier this summer... we met for dinner at a very tasty Mexican place (yay!) in Canandaigua and talked about our dogs for the first hour (double yay!) so I knew pretty quickly that we were a good fit!
We had a beautiful day in the finger lakes for this double-doctor wedding! Seriously, with the smartness. AND the adorableness!
Laura's dress was just perfect for her.
When Laura was all ready, I told her she looked totally old-Hollywood glam and she and her girls were like "That's exactly what we were going for!" Nailed it, ladies!
The ceremony was at Norton Chapel in Keuka Park. I love Calvin's smile!
We had a very special guest at the ceremony... Calvin and Laura's adorable pup, Pia! Look at that face, she's such a sweet girl!
During the toasts, Laura's maid of honor said that Laura wears her heart on her sleeve. She definitely does, and it is utterly charming. Usually during the sign of peace, the bride and groom will greet the first row or two of guests and then return to the altar. Laura just kept going and going, and crying and crying. The whole church was giggling and sniffling along with her... it was so sweet!
Getting back to the altar was totally worth it. 🙂
Bridal party fun at Esperanza Mansion
Esperanza's view is so pretty!
I grabbed this shot quickly as the bridal party was lining up for introductions... I think it is one of my favorites from Esperanza!
This diamond and I almost eloped.
Laura and Calvin had a really cute first dance planned!
So fun to see Whitney and Bill again!
Nathan from Finger Lakes Entertainment was rocking the party!
Calvin was having the best time on the dance floor... he was definitely the MVP, no question!
Congratulations Calvin and Laura, I had a great time with you guys and your families and friends... and especially Pia! 😀
